Sonalika Tractors said the company clocked its highest-ever tractor market share of 16.3% in November with a sales growth of 23% year on year during the month.
In November, Sonalika sold 12,891 tractors, against 10,464 tractors sold in the year-ago period. The company’s growth in November also exceeded the industry growth, which is estimated to be at around 2%. Sonalika’s sales during April-November also surpassed the 1 lakh tractor mark.
“Favourable conditions such as bullish buying during the festive season, coupled with Sonalika’s timely product availability and ideal product mix enabled the company to achieve its latest milestone,” the company said.
Sonalika Tractors says it is the top tractor export brand from India and is also the third-largest tractor manufacturer in the country. Mahindra & Mahindra and its Swaraj brand are the top two tractor makers.
