Skoda Slavia Facelift Exterior

The overall silhouette of the Slavia remains unchanged, but the facelift brings several styling revisions.

The front gets updated LED headlamps with segmented DRLs, a segmented chrome grille strip, new LED fog lamps and a sportier bumper with a revised air dam. The sedan also gets redesigned 16-inch alloy wheels and a revised chrome window line. At the rear, the changes include revised LED tail-lamps with sequential turn indicators, updated Skoda branding and a redesigned bumper.

New exterior colours include Arctic Silver and Cappuccino Beige. Monte Carlo variants get blacked-out exterior elements, red grille accents, special badging and dual-tone colour options.

Interior and Features

Changes inside the Slavia facelift are relatively minor. Standard variants continue with a beige-and-black theme, although the previous copper inserts have been replaced by silver-beige elements. The leatherette seats are now finished in a monotone colour scheme. The Monte Carlo gets an all-black interior with red inserts, red graphics on the screens and black leatherette seats with contrasting red stitching.

The facelift also gets additional equipment. The infotainment screen has grown to 10.1 inches and gets a Google AI assistant, while a new 10.25-inch digital driver's display offers configurable screens. Other additions include a 360-degree camera and a segment-first rear-seat massage function.

The AC system now uses a variable-geometry compressor, which Skoda says improves cooling performance. Existing features such as a single-pane sunroof, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless charging, powered and ventilated front seats and an eight-speaker audio system continue. The Slavia facelift, however, does not get ADAS.

1.0 TSI Gets New 8-Speed Automatic

The engine line-up remains unchanged. The 1.0 TSI produces 115hp and 178Nm and continues with a 6-speed manual, but its automatic version now gets an 8-speed torque-converter gearbox, replacing the outgoing 6-speed automatic.

The 1.5 TSI makes 150hp and 250Nm and continues with a 7-speed DSG.

Claimed fuel-efficiency figures are 19.76kpl for the 1.0 TSI manual, 19.50kpl for the 1.0 TSI automatic and 18.79kpl for the 1.5 TSI.
