The Skoda Octavia RS will finally make its way to India in November 2025, sold as a full import (CBU) in limited numbers. Sources indicate that allocations will be limited, similar to the earlier Octavia RS launches like the RS 245, which was also limited to just 200 units for India.
The India-bound Skoda Octavia RS had earlier been showcased at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 back in January, and Ashish Gupta, Skoda India’s brand director, had confirmed to us its India launch later in 2025.
As far as powertrain goes, the India-bound fourth-gen facelifted Octavia RS is powered by a 265hp, 2.0-litre turbo-petrol, the same engine that also powers the Volkswagen Golf GTI which is also on sale in India. Dealers tell us that the Octavia RS price in India will be on par with the Golf GTI, which means it will be slightly above Rs 50 lakh (ex-showroom).
