Skoda Auto India has expanded its SUV line-up with the introduction of the Kylaq Sportline, priced at Rs 11,32,000 for the manual variant and Rs 12,32,000 for the automatic version, ex-showroom.
The Sportline is the seventh variant in the Kylaq range, joining Classic, Classic+, Signature, Signature+, Prestige, and Prestige+. The new variant introduces cosmetic updates that include black exterior rear-view mirror housings, glossy black front and rear diffusers, LED projector headlamps, a black dual-tone floating roof, 17-inch black alloy wheels, a rear spoiler with finlets, and black badging on the tailgate.
Inside, the cabin features a black interior theme across the dashboard, roof lining, and door panels. Equipment includes leatherette seats with contrast stitching, aluminium pedals, ambient lighting, wireless phone charging, an electric sunroof, automatic climate control, a 25.6 cm touchscreen infotainment system, and a 20.32 cm digital instrument cluster.
The Kylaq Sportline is powered by the existing 1.0-litre TSI turbo-petrol engine, paired with either a six-speed manual or a six-speed torque-converter automatic gearbox. The SUV carries a five-star Bharat NCAP crash safety rating and includes six airbags alongside standard active and passive safety systems.
"The Kylaq continues to take European technology closer to Indian customers, and the new Sportline brings an added emotional appeal to the range," said Ashish Gupta, Brand Director at Skoda Auto India. "With updates across other trims as well, we are further enhancing value while giving customers more reasons to choose the Kylaq."
Alongside the Sportline launch, Skoda also announced it has updated equipment on lower trims, adding automatic climate control and a rear defogger to the Classic and Classic+ variants. All variants come with the Skoda Super Care ownership package, comprising a standard four-year warranty, four years of roadside assistance, and four labour-free scheduled services.
