Krishna Group's Metals Division, SKH, has formed a strategic alliance with Magna International Inc for Body and Chassis operations in India, creating a new entity called SKH M.
This alliance is part of SKH's expansion strategy in the automotive components sector and builds upon the company's history of international partnerships across multiple continents, including collaborations with firms from Spain, Italy, Japan, and Canada.
The partnership aims to combine SKH's manufacturing capabilities with Magna's technology to advance innovation in Chassis and Body-in-White (BIW) Systems. The alliance is expected to enhance product offerings, expand market reach, and drive technological advancements in the automotive sector.
Sunandan Kapur, Vice-Chairman of Krishna Group, stated that the alliance represents a step towards the group's vision of becoming a global leader in automotive solutions. John O'Hara, President of Cosma International, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, noting the potential to deliver innovative solutions for the automotive industry.
Manish Gupta, Head of Strategy and Marketing at SKH, described the alliance as a significant step in SKH's growth, enhancing capabilities in advanced chassis and BIW Systems.
The alliance will focus on several areas, including innovation and technological advancement, with an emphasis on Industry 4.0 compliance and advanced manufacturing processes. Both companies have expressed a commitment to sustainability, focusing on energy-efficient solutions. The partnership aims to exceed customer expectations by providing advanced systems that enhance vehicle performance and safety, while also strengthening SKH's presence in India.
