Shriram Automall, Volvo CE forge partnership to transform pre-owned construction equipment market

Shriram Automall India, an online and physical marketplace for pre-owned vehicles and equipment, has announced a strategic partnership with Volvo Construction Equipment (Volvo CE). The alliance aims to leverage SAMIL's extensive Phygital auction platforms and comprehensive support services for the pre-owned construction equipment industry.

Enhanced inventory management

Volvo CE and its dealers will benefit from SAMIL's 135+ Automalls across India, online auction portals (cartradeexchange.com and bids.samil.in), and Phygital solutions through the MySAMIL App. This infrastructure will facilitate efficient management of exchange, demo, and surplus inventory of used construction equipment.

Comprehensive Support Services

SAMIL will provide end-to-end support, including parking, inspection, valuation, and documentation, ensuring a seamless experience for Volvo CE customers.

Dimitrov Krishnan, Managing Director, Volvo CE India, expressed "The Indian CE market is maturing, evidenced by the growth in the used equipment trade. Our agreement with SAMIL offers a seamless channel for our customers and dealers to engage in the trade and sale of used equipment. SAMIL's extensive network and robust digital capabilities will significantly support our dealer network."

Sameer Malhotra, Director & CEO, SAMIL, highlighted, "We are thrilled to partner with Volvo CE, a brand known for quality and reliability. By leveraging our extensive network and Phygital solutions, we aim to enhance the value proposition for Volvo CE dealers and customers across India. This partnership underscores our commitment to providing comprehensive and innovative solutions, creating new opportunities, and driving growth in the used construction equipment sector."

The partnership will expand market reach and reputation for used construction equipment, benefiting both Volvo CE and SAMIL customers.
