Sharda Motor Industries Limited (SMIL) has announced that its new manufacturing plant in Chakan, Maharashtra, will begin commercial production from June 23, 2025. This update, communicated in a regulatory filing to both the Bombay Stock Exchange and the National Stock Exchange, is in continuation of an earlier announcement made in May 2024. The intimation was submitted by Iti Goyal, Assistant Company Secretary and Compliance Officer at SMIL, in accordance with Regulation 30 of the SEBI Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements.
