Profit Falls Sharply as Costs Stay Elevated
Profit before tax for the quarter stood at Rs 14.17 crore, compared to Rs 30.62 crore in Q1 FY26. Net profit after tax reached Rs 9.85 crore, down from Rs 22.69 crore in the same period last year.
Total expenses for the quarter were Rs 105.48 crore, compared to Rs 108.04 crore in Q1 FY26. Cost of materials consumed stood at Rs 70.87 crore, while employee benefits expense reached Rs 19.78 crore.
Order Book at Rs 378 Crore Despite Lower Sales
The industrial gear manufacturer recorded a Return on Average Invested Capital (ROIC) of 17% for the quarter and generated free cash flow of Rs 16.20 crore. As of June 30, 2026, the company's unexecuted order book stood at Rs 378 crore.
