Sedemac Begins Production at New Pune Plant

Sedemac Mechatronics announced that it has commenced limited commercial production at its newly constructed manufacturing plant in Pune, Maharashtra. The unit, designated as Manufacturing Facility 3, expands the company's manufacturing footprint alongside its existing facilities in Chakan and Wadgaon Budruk.

In a regulatory filing submitted to the stock exchanges, the powertrain and mechatronics supplier stated that it will progressively operationalise the remaining manufacturing lines and processes across the site in phased cycles, with further disclosures planned as the plant moves toward full-scale commercial operations.

Sedemac said the new production capacity comes as it scales its supply of control-intensive automotive electronics, including ECUs, sensorless integrated starter-generator systems, and motor control units for internal combustion engines.
