Schaeffler India is showcasing technologies for construction and off-highway equipment at bauma CONEXPO INDIA 2026, being held from September 15-18 at India Exposition Mart, Greater Noida. The company is displaying its portfolio at Hall 11, Booth Q51.

The showcase, themed ‘Moving Next Generation of Construction Machines’, covers low-friction bearings, sensors and mechatronics, electric motors, electromechanical linear actuators, Industrial Lifetime Solutions, and powertrain and chassis components. The technologies are aimed at improving equipment efficiency, reducing emissions and supporting reliability over the machine lifecycle.

A key area of the display is Schaeffler’s X-life low-friction bearing portfolio. The company says these bearings can reduce energy consumption in applications including drivetrains, hydraulic pumps and transmissions. It is also showing torque measurement modules and sensorised components for monitoring operating loads and supporting predictive maintenance approaches.

Schaeffler Highlights Electric Motors And Linear Actuators

Schaeffler is also using the exhibition to highlight its electrification portfolio, including electric motors for different applications. Its electromechanical linear actuators are positioned as an alternative to hydraulic functions in selected applications, with the company citing precise control, longer maintenance intervals and lower lifecycle costs.

The company is displaying Industrial Lifetime Solutions that include condition monitoring systems, smart lubrication and maintenance solutions. These systems are intended to provide equipment-health information and help identify potential issues earlier, with the aim of reducing unplanned downtime.

Schaeffler India managing director and CEO Harsha Kadam said the company is combining its local engineering, manufacturing and customer capabilities with its global technology portfolio to address construction and off-highway applications in India. He added that the company has five manufacturing facilities, engineering and R&D capabilities, and localisation levels of approximately 80 percent.

The company said India is being positioned as both a growth market and a regional capability hub as construction machinery moves towards electrification, automation, digitalisation and greater connectivity.

Maximilian Fiedler, regional CEO, Asia/Pacific, Schaeffler Group, said customers across the region are seeking greater efficiency, lower emissions, higher equipment availability and increased machine intelligence. He said Schaeffler is combining its global technology expertise with local capabilities to support customers in India and the wider region.

Schaeffler India said its exhibition presence will also allow it to engage with OEMs, equipment manufacturers, end-users and other industry stakeholders on emerging application requirements.

Schaeffler India Manufacturing And R&D Footprint

Schaeffler India operates five manufacturing plants in Talegaon, Savli, Maneja, Hosur and Shoolagiri, along with three R&D centres and five sales offices. The company said it has more than 3,800 employees in India and has been present in the country for more than 60 years.
