Schaeffler Names Maximilian Fiedler as Regional CEO for Asia Pacific

The German motion technology company has promoted its regional CFO to lead operations across the Asia Pacific market, effective January 1, 2026.

Schaeffler has appointed Maximilian Fiedler, 38, as Regional Chief Executive Officer for Asia Pacific, the company announced on January 13, 2026. The appointment took effect on January 1, 2026, and includes a position on Schaeffler Group's Executive Board.

Fiedler had been serving as Chief Financial Officer for the Asia Pacific region since 2022. In June 2025, he took on the regional CEO role temporarily while continuing his CFO responsibilities.

Fiedler joined Schaeffler in 2012 and has held multiple senior positions within the organization. His previous roles included Head of External Reporting for Schaeffler Group and Chief Financial Officer for Schaeffler Mexico. Prior to Schaeffler, he worked as Treasury Manager at HeidelbergCement AG.

Klaus Rosenfeld, CEO of Schaeffler AG, said the company was pleased to have Fiedler lead the Asia Pacific business. Rosenfeld noted Fiedler's commitment to the company and expressed confidence in his ability to guide operations in the region.

Fiedler said he looked forward to working with the regional team to build on existing achievements and engage with customers in the market.

The company produces technologies and products for electric mobility, CO₂-efficient drives, chassis solutions, and renewable energy applications. It operates with approximately 110,000 employees across more than 250 locations in 55 countries, making it one of the largest family-owned companies globally.
