Scania India inaugurates training centre in Chandrapur

Scania India has officially launched its new Training Centre in collaboration with PPS Motors in Chandrapur. The facility aims to strengthen technical expertise and operational efficiency in India through specialized training modules.
The training centre, located in Chandrapur, is focused on providing technical training for service engineers, technicians, and drivers. It is equipped with advanced driver training simulators designed to offer a realistic learning environment. The simulators allow trainees to practice managing complex vehicle operations, improving fuel efficiency, and adopting safer driving practices.
The centre is supported by two Technical Trainers and one Driver Trainer, with a focus on mining operations. It seeks to enhance Scania India's presence in the region.
Speaking at the inauguration, Munhoz Silvio, MD, Scania India, said, “With this training centre, we aim to bridge the gap between advanced technology and operational expertise. Our goal is to equip engineers, technicians, and drivers with the necessary skills to enhance safety, productivity, and sustainable growth for our customers.”
