CEER, the national automotive company of Saudi Arabia, has unveiled its flagship electric vehicles, the EXOBOT sedan and SUV. This marks the brand's entry into the passenger EV segment as part of the industrial diversification targets under Saudi's Vision 2030. The vehicles were revealed by Crown Prince, Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Public Investment Fund (PIF), Mohammed bin Salman.
The EXOBOT sedan and SUV form the first tranche of a planned seven-model portfolio scheduled for launch over the next five years, which will include midsize and compact vehicles featuring different propulsion configurations. Designed and engineered locally in Saudi Arabia, the vehicles will be produced at the CEER Manufacturing Complex (CMC).
By 2034, CEER is projected to contribute $8 billion to Saudi Arabia's gross domestic product and generate direct and indirect manufacturing employment, as the PIF continues to diversify into various global industries and markets.
