Samvardhana Motherson Issues Rs 200 Cr Commercial Paper to Kotak Mahindra Bank
The 83-day paper carries a 6.25% coupon and is listed on BSE, the company told the exchanges.
Samvardhana Motherson International Limited issued commercial paper worth Rs 200 crore in favour of Kotak Mahindra Bank Limited on September 30, 2026, the company informed the NSE and BSE in a filing the same day.
The issue comprises 4,000 commercial papers with a face value of Rs 500,000 each. The paper has a tenure of 83 days and a coupon of 6.25%. It matures on December 22, 2026, when the principal will be paid.
Interest is charged upfront, so no interest payment schedule applies. The paper is unsecured and carries no special rights.
The company marked as not applicable the fields on any delay or default in payment of interest or principal, and on any letters or comments concerning payment or the security.
Samvardhana Motherson International Limited is an automotive components manufacturer. It was formerly known as Motherson Sumi Systems Limited and adopted its present name in May 2022. The company is headquartered in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, and has a business presence in 44 countries across Asia Pacific, Europe, Africa and the Americas. The filing lists its registered office in Mumbai.
Its products include wiring harnesses, rearview mirrors for passenger cars, injection-moulded products, and modules such as dashboards, door trims and bumpers.
