RPG Group Plans Greenfield Tyre Plant in Madhya Pradesh
The group already runs a manufacturing plant in Jabalpur and is evaluating a new tyre facility in the state, though capacity and investment details are yet to be finalised.
RPG Group is exploring the possibility of setting up a greenfield tyre plant in Madhya Pradesh, Chairman Harsh Goenka said on October 8, 2026, as part of the group’s plans to expand its presence in the state, according to ETAuto.
The group already has a manufacturing plant in Jabalpur and is also looking at fresh investments in its engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) business. Goenka earlier called on Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav to discuss the group’s expansion plans in the state.
“We are looking at a fresh investment; we already have a plant there in Jabalpur. So we want to expand. And we are looking at a tyre plant possibility over there,” Goenka told PTI.
Asked about the proposed facility’s capacity and investment, Goenka said the group is still working on the details. “Nothing is decided,” he said.
