Eicher Motors Limited, the parent company of Royal Enfield, has released its sales figures for March 2025, showing impressive growth across all motorcycle segments. The company has continued its strong performance with significant year-on-year increases in both domestic and international markets.
Royal Enfield sold a total of 101,021 motorcycles in March 2025, marking a substantial 34% increase compared to 75,551 units sold in March 2024. This growth demonstrates the brand's continued momentum in the premium motorcycle segment.
In the models with engine capacity up to 350cc category, which includes popular models like the Classic 350 and Bullet 350, Royal Enfield sold 87,312 units, representing a 32% growth compared to March 2024. Meanwhile, models with engine capacity exceeding 350cc saw sales reach 13,709 units, showing an impressive 49% growth over the same period last year. This significant increase reflects growing consumer interest in Royal Enfield's premium offerings, including their 650 Twin range.
Royal Enfield's global presence continues to expand, with international sales reaching 12,971 units in March 2025, a 36% increase from the previous year. This international growth underscores the brand's increasing global appeal and successful expansion strategies.
For the full financial year from April 2024 to March 2025, Royal Enfield achieved total sales of 1,009,900 motorcycles, representing an 11% increase over the previous year. The models up to 350cc segment saw annual sales of 868,667 units, a 7% growth, while the above 350cc segment recorded 141,233 units, showing a remarkable 40% growth. International business reached 107,143 units exported during the financial year, a significant 37% increase from the previous year.
Royal Enfield's March 2025 performance continues the strong momentum seen in previous months. The substantial growth in the above 350cc segment suggests that the company's strategy to expand its premium motorcycle portfolio is paying dividends. Meanwhile, the consistent growth in international markets demonstrates Royal Enfield's successful global expansion efforts. Exceeding one million motorcycles sold in the financial year marks a significant milestone for Royal Enfield and reinforces its position as a leader in the mid-size motorcycle segment both in India and globally.
