Royal Enfield has taken the wraps off the much-anticipated Bullet 650 at EICMA 2025. The new Bullet 650 shares most of its underpinnings with the Classic 650, including the chassis, suspension setup, and dimensions. In fact, the two motorcycles are nearly identical in wheelbase, kerb weight, seat height, and ground clearance.
What sets the Bullet 650 apart, however, is its timeless styling that stays true to the brand’s heritage. The motorcycle sports classic design cues such as a chrome headlight hood, hand-painted pinstripes on the fuel tank, metal tank badging, and twin pilot lamps that flank the LED headlight. The attention to detail continues with a digi-analogue instrument cluster, combining an analogue speedometer with a small digital display for the fuel gauge and odometer. The new Bullet 650 retains its polished aluminium switchgear along with adjustable brake and clutch levers to enhance ergonomics and usability.
Powering the Bullet 650 is the familiar 648cc parallel-twin engine seen across Royal Enfield’s 650 range, producing 47hp and 52.3Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox and continues to be praised for its smooth power delivery and strong midrange performance. Suspension duties are handled by a Showa telescopic fork with 120mm of travel at the front and twin shocks offering 112mm at the rear, a combination that promises a comfortable and stable ride across varying road conditions.
At EICMA, Royal Enfield has unveiled the Bullet 650 in two colours — a traditional black, echoing the model’s classic identity, and a new blue shade as well. While the company hasn’t yet confirmed an India launch date, it is widely expected that the Bullet 650 will make its domestic debut at Motoverse 2025, scheduled for November 21.
Alongside the new Bullet 650, Royal Enfield also showcased a Classic 650 Limited Edition to celebrate 125 years of the brand’s legacy. Mechanically identical to the standard model, this commemorative version stands out with a special paint finish that shifts between red and gold depending on the viewing angle, complemented by a ‘125 Years’ crest on the fuel tank and side panels. The Limited Edition Classic 650 serves as a nod to Royal Enfield’s long and storied journey, blending tradition with craftsmanship in typical Enfield fashion.
With the Bullet 650 joining the lineup, Royal Enfield’s 650cc platform now spans a wide range of styles — from the Interceptor and Continental GT to the Super Meteor cruiser and the Classic retro roadster — reinforcing the brand’s dominance in the middleweight motorcycle segment both in India and globally.
