Rosmerta Launches Children's Comic Book on Road Safety at CII Conclave

Rosmerta Technologies Limited released a children's comic book on road safety at the 3rd CII National Conclave on Road Safety on 26 February 2026 in New Delhi. Titled The Curious Bunch, the illustrated book is aimed at teaching young readers safe road behaviour through everyday scenarios.

India recorded over 1.68 lakh road accident fatalities in 2022, according to government data. The country's road safety strategy is built around four pillars — Engineering, Education, Enforcement and Emergency Care — with a stated target of reducing fatalities by 2030. The launch of the comic book falls under the education component of that framework.

The book covers topics including pedestrian safety, traffic signals, helmet and seatbelt use, school bus conduct, and child restraint systems. It was released following a plenary session at the conclave titled "Road Safety and Children as Brand Ambassadors."

Ravi Krishnamoorthi, Group President of Rosmerta Technologies, said road safety is "about compassion and collective responsibility," and that children who understand traffic rules can become advocates for safe behaviour within their families and communities.

Dr. Rajesh Mohan, DCP of Gurugram Traffic, who spoke at the event, said the education of children has an effect beyond the classroom, as children share what they learn and can influence the behaviour of parents who are also road users. He added that most road fatalities are preventable if road rules are followed, and that change driven by early awareness "has the power to reshape behaviour across generations."

The CII National Conclave brought together policymakers, technology companies, infrastructure leaders and industry representatives to discuss strategies for road safety ahead of 2030. The conclave focused on the integration of engineering, enforcement and education as complementary approaches.

Rosmerta Technologies is primarily known for its work in the High-Security Registration Plate sector, where it holds approximately 50% of the Indian market. The company also operates in areas including automated driving test assessments, AI-enabled monitoring, vehicle scrapping, and smart card-based licensing solutions. The company says its existing technology work supports the enforcement and accountability aspects of road safety, while the comic book marks an extension into direct public education.
