Bengaluru-based electric two-wheeler manufacturer River Mobility has entered Nepal, opening its first international retail and service outlet in Naxal, Kathmandu, in partnership with Vishal Group.

The outlet will retail the company's flagship electric scooter, the Indie, along with accessories and merchandise. River has also established a dedicated service centre to support customers in the market.

The company plans to expand beyond Kathmandu and establish a retail and service network across key cities in Nepal. The proposed expansion is aimed at increasing customer access to its products and after-sales services.

River currently operates more than 90 stores across India, including in Karnataka, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Delhi-NCR, Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh. The company plans to increase its domestic retail network to more than 400 stores by March 2028, covering existing and new markets.

The River Indie is priced at NPR 3,70,000 (ex-showroom, Kathmandu). Test rides and bookings are available at the new outlet.
