Renault India reported domestic wholesales of 2,842 units in August 2026, taking its cumulative sales for January-August to 31,979 units.
The company’s year-to-date domestic wholesales were up 47.9% from 21,621 units sold during the corresponding period in 2025.
Renault's futuREady Strategy: Multi-Powertrain Product Push
Renault said it is expanding its product portfolio to address demand across petrol, CNG, hybrid and electric powertrains. Under its futuREady strategy, the automaker plans to offer seven models with multiple powertrain options.
Triber Turbo to Launch in September 2026
The company will introduce the Triber Turbo in the last week of September 2026, adding a new powertrain option to the Triber range.
Renault India's Oragadam Manufacturing Plant
Renault India is a wholly owned subsidiary of Renault S.A.S., France. Its vehicles are manufactured at the company’s facility in Oragadam, Chennai, which has an annual production capacity of 480,000 units.
