Renault India introduces standard 3-Year warranty, extended coverage options

Renault India launches a 3-year or 1,00,000 km standard warranty, along with extended options of up to 7 years or unlimited km, enhancing customer confidence and providing added convenience with 24x7 roadside assistance.

Renault India, a subsidiary of the Renault Group, has announced a standard 3-year or 1,00,000 km warranty for all vehicles delivered from January 1, 2025. This warranty covers mechanical and electrical issues related to material defects, workmanship, or manufacturing faults, aiming to enhance customer confidence in Renault's products.  

Additionally, the company has introduced extended warranty packages under the Renault Secure initiative. These options provide coverage of up to 7 years or unlimited kilometers and can be purchased anytime during the standard warranty period. Customers can choose from extended warranties of 4 years or 1,00,000 km, 5 years or 1,20,000 km, 6 years or 1,40,000 km, or 7 years with unlimited kilometers.  

Both the standard and extended warranty programs include complimentary 24x7 roadside assistance, which covers accidental towing services, adding further convenience for Renault owners.  

Venkatram M., Managing Director and Country CEO of Renault India, stated, “The introduction of the standard 3-year warranty demonstrates our confidence in the quality of Renault vehicles and our commitment to enhancing the ownership experience. These warranty options aim to provide reassurance to our customers and make their journeys worry-free.” 

Renault India currently offers a range of vehicles  including hatchback, compact MPV and a sub-compact SUVs tailored for both urban and rural markets.

The Renault KWID stands as an entry-level compact hatchback, powered by a 1.0L petrol engine and offering a 5-speed manual transmission. It provides a fuel efficiency of around 21 km/l and comes with modern styling, touchscreen infotainment, and optional automatic transmission.

The Renault Triber is a compact MPV that offers flexibility and spaciousness. It is powered by a 1.0L petrol engine and is available with both manual and AMT options. The Triber’s modular seating layout makes it suitable for families looking for versatility.

The Renault Kiger, a sub-4m compact SUV, is powered by a 1.0L petrol engine, delivering power outputs ranging from 72 to 100 HP. It comes equipped with advanced features like a digital instrument cluster, connected car technology, and a spacious interior, targeting younger buyers.
