Remsons Industries Ltd has announced that its UK-based step-down subsidiary, Remsons Automotive Ltd, has been nominated by a global commercial vehicle OEM for a 10-year pedal box programme valued at an estimated ₹160 crore over its lifecycle.

The programme is scheduled to enter production in the fourth quarter of calendar year 2028 and is expected to support the company’s commercial vehicle business over the next decade. According to the company, the nomination follows an extended technical evaluation and sourcing process covering engineering capability, manufacturing readiness, quality systems and programme management.

The contract involves the supply of pedal box assemblies, which integrate brake and clutch pedal systems into a mounted structural unit fitted to the vehicle bulkhead. These assemblies are categorised as safety-critical systems in commercial vehicles.

Davinder Bains, Managing Director of Remsons Automotive Ltd (UK), said, “Securing a ten-year pedal box programme of this scale with a global commercial vehicle OEM validates the engineering depth, manufacturing capability and quality systems that we have built across our Indian and UK operations.”

The company stated that the order strengthens its position in the commercial vehicle segment and expands its role from supplying individual components to integrated sub-assemblies. Remsons currently manufactures mechanical control cables, gear shifters, pedal assemblies, sensors and lighting systems for passenger vehicles, commercial vehicles, two-wheelers and off-highway applications across India and the UK.
