Rahul Desai Takes Over as Remsons Industries CEO

Automotive cable and shifter manufacturer Remsons Industries Limited has appointed Rahul Prabhakar Desai as its Chief Executive Officer, effective August 3, 2026.

Amit Srivastava to Step Down in September

Desai succeeds Amit Srivastava, who will step down from the role at the close of business hours on September 4, 2026. The appointment was approved by the board of directors following recommendations from the nomination and remuneration committee.

Desai brings over three decades of automotive manufacturing experience to the company, including more than 17 years in chief executive and senior executive positions. He previously served as Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer at Pinnacle Industries Limited, where he managed operations across five plants. His previous executive roles also include a decade as Chief Executive Officer at CIE India overseeing ten manufacturing locations, along with leadership tenures at GKN Sinter Metals Limited and Inteva Products India.
