Rapido announced on October 15, 2025, that it has integrated travel booking capabilities into its platform through partnerships with three established travel service providers. Users can now book flights and hotels through Goibibo, intercity buses via redBus, and train tickets through ConfirmTkt, all within the Rapido application.

The Bengaluru-based company, which operates as a ride-sharing platform across more than 400 Indian cities, has added a dedicated travel section to its app's home screen. The integration allows users to access booking services for long-distance travel alongside the platform's existing local transportation options.

The partnerships involve MakeMyTrip's travel brands Goibibo and redBus, as well as ConfirmTkt, which is part of the ixigo Group. According to the companies, the collaboration aims to expand digital travel booking adoption in tier 2 and tier 3 cities, where Rapido has an established presence.

Launch offers include discounts of up to ₹4,000 on flights and up to 55% on hotels through Goibibo, 20% off bus bookings through redBus up to ₹300, and waived service charges on train bookings via ConfirmTkt. The booking process is handled through partner platforms integrated within the Rapido interface.

Rapido reports having 50 million monthly active users. The company plans to expand its operations to more than 1,000 cities. Aravind Sanka, co-founder of Rapido, stated that the move extends the company's focus on affordability from daily commutes to long-distance travel.

India's travel market is estimated to reach ₹5.8 trillion by fiscal year 2026, growing at a compound annual growth rate of 14%. Currently, less than 40% of this market operates online, according to industry projections cited in the announcement.

Rajesh Magow, co-founder and group CEO of MakeMyTrip, said the partnership aligns with efforts to reach travelers in smaller markets. Dinesh Kumar Kotha, CEO of ConfirmTkt and ixigo Trains, noted that the integration brings train booking services to Rapido's user base.

The development represents an expansion of Rapido's service offerings beyond ride-sharing into the broader travel booking sector, where it will compete with established online travel agencies and other mobility platforms that offer similar integrated services.
