Rapidise to Quadruple Manesar Manufacturing Capacity with Rs 200 Crore Investment

India-based electronics ODM, Rapidise plans to quadruple its manufacturing capacity in Manesar, Haryana, as part of a three-year investment plan of around Rs 200 crore. The expansion includes a new 120,000 sq ft facility in Sector 8, which will be added to the company’s existing 40,000 sq ft facility in Sector 3.

The new facility will add Surface Mount Technology (SMT) capacity, automated manufacturing systems and digital production capabilities to support higher volumes and more complex electronics programmes, including server and AI hardware.

Rapidise Dual-Lane SMT Line and PCB Assembly Capacity

Rapidise has already commissioned a dual-lane SMT line, taking its total component placement capacity to around 800,000 components per hour. The setup will support the production of complex printed circuit board (PCB) assemblies and provide real-time production traceability through connected manufacturing systems.

How the Rs 200 Crore Investment Will Be Deployed

The company said the Rs 200 crore investment will be deployed in phases, with funds allocated towards the Sector 8 expansion, installation of 10 SMT lines and further development of the manufacturing infrastructure. The expansion is expected to create around 1,000 direct and indirect jobs during FY27.

Sectors Rapidise Serves and New Areas It Plans to Enter

Rapidise currently manufactures products for the automotive, consumer electronics, telecom, security and surveillance, networking and compute, healthcare and agriculture sectors. The company said the additional capacity will allow it to undertake larger OEM programmes and expand into areas including AI hardware, networking, defence and railways.
