Ramkrishna Forgings Limited (RKFL), a prominent supplier of rolled, forged, and machined products, has secured a significant order valued at Rs 270 crores for the prestigious Vande Bharat Train Set. This milestone order is to be supplied to the BHEL-TRSL consortium, marking a momentous step in RKFL's journey towards excellence in rail infrastructure development.
The project entails the development and validation of the Bogie Frame for the sleeper version of the Vande Bharat Trainset, showcasing RKFL's expertise and commitment to innovation. With its proven track record, RKFL is well-equipped to serve as the ideal partner for this critical endeavor.
The scope of the order encompasses 32 train sets, each comprising 16 coaches. As a result, RKFL will be manufacturing a total of 1024 bogie frames, demonstrating its capacity to handle large-scale and intricate manufacturing requirements with precision and efficiency.
