Ramkrishna Forgings Q4 PAT rises 31% at Rs 87 crore

Revenue from operations increased 5 percent year-on-year (YoY) to Rs 899.79 crore for the reporting period, showing a positive trend in the company's sales.

Ramkrishna Forgings, a firm in the forging industry, reported a 31 percent increase in its consolidated net profit at Rs 87.3 crore for the quarter ended March 2024. It was Rs 82.26 crore a year ago.

Revenue from operations increased 5 percent year-on-year (YoY) to Rs 899.79 crore for the reporting period, showing a positive trend in the company's sales.

During the quarter under review, EBITDA grew by 7 percent to Rs 200 crore, and the EBITDA margin expanded by 20 basis points YoY to 22.7 percent.

In the quarter gone by, Ramkrishna Forgings secured an order worth Rs 270 crore for the Vande Bharat Train Set. "This is a pivotal achievement in our ongoing rail infrastructure development efforts. Furthermore, our recent contract worth USD 220 million in the North American market reflects our strategic expansion and focused approach," said Naresh Jalan, MD of the company.
