Proxgy unveils Hat+ and ProHat bands to upgrade industrial helmets

Proxgy has launched two new products, the Hat+ Band and the ProHat Band, designed to transform standard industrial helmets into air-conditioned or smart helmets. These products aim to improve comfort and connectivity for industrial workers operating in challenging environments.

The Hat+ Band is designed to provide air conditioning for workers using standard industrial helmets, offering relief in high-temperature workplaces such as mines, road construction sites, tunnels, factories, and police operations. The device, which features a lightweight design and a battery backup lasting 8–10 hours, ensures uninterrupted cooling during long work shifts.

The ProHat Band focuses on enhancing safety and connectivity. It converts regular helmets into smart helmets equipped with features such as audio and video conferencing, 4G and BLE connectivity, and AI-powered edge processing. This device supports real-time communication and situational awareness, helping workers collaborate remotely and detect potential hazards efficiently.

Both products are priced under INR 9,990, making them accessible to a wider audience. They are designed to retrofit onto standard industrial helmets, offering a cost-effective alternative to traditional AC helmets, which are often expensive and limited in usability.

Speaking at the launch event, Pulkit Ahuja, Founder and CEO of Proxgy, explained that the inspiration for these products came from feedback gathered during market surveys. Workers frequently cited the high cost of AC helmets as a barrier, leading Proxgy to create more affordable and adaptable solutions. Ahuja highlighted that both products are “Made in India” and are designed to address the specific needs of industrial workers.

Proxgy’s new products align with the company’s goal of improving workplace safety and efficiency through technology. The Hat+ Band and ProHat Band build on Proxgy’s existing wearable Industrial IoT devices, which serve industries such as oil and gas, mining, manufacturing, security, and construction.

Both products are now available for pre-order, with shipments scheduled to begin next month. Proxgy continues to focus on providing innovative solutions to enhance safety, comfort, and operational efficiency in industrial sectors.
