Pricol Limited, an Indian automotive technology company, has entered into a technology license agreement with Italy-based Domino S.r.l to manufacture two-wheeler handlebar control components including switches, throttles, and related products for India and Southeast Asia markets.

The partnership combines Domino's motorcycle control systems expertise with Pricol's manufacturing capabilities and regional market presence. The collaboration will focus on developing products tailored for the Indian and Southeast Asian markets while potentially leveraging Domino's aftermarket presence in European and US markets.

Vikram Mohan, Managing Director of Pricol Limited, stated that the partnership represents a step forward in delivering technology solutions by combining Domino's innovation in motorcycle control systems with Pricol's market understanding and manufacturing strength.

Federico Bertini, CEO of Domino S.r.l, described the agreement as part of the company's global expansion strategy into India and Southeast Asia markets. He noted that the partnership would combine Domino's precision-engineered solutions with Pricol's market knowledge and operational capabilities.

Siddharth Manoharan, Group Director of Strategy at Pricol, indicated that the collaboration would strengthen the company's position as a comprehensive provider of handlebar components for two-wheelers, complementing their existing Driver Information System offerings.

Pricol Limited, headquartered in Coimbatore, began operations in 1975 and has developed into a supplier for automotive original equipment manufacturers globally. The company operates through three verticals: Driver Information and Connected Vehicle Solution, Actuation Control and Fluid Management System, and Precision Products. It supplies over 5,200 product variants to manufacturers across two-wheelers, three-wheelers, passenger vehicles, commercial vehicles, and off-highway vehicles.

The company maintains 14 manufacturing plants across India, one manufacturing unit in Indonesia, and three international offices in Dubai, Tokyo, and Singapore, employing over 8,500 people.

Domino S.r.l, founded in 1951, initially focused on mechanical motorcycle levers before expanding into electronic systems including ride-by-wire throttles, control devices, quick shifters, handlebars, and grips. The company supplies original equipment manufacturers in Europe and globally, and maintains involvement in motorsport racing circuits.

The partnership announcement was made on July 15, 2025, from Coimbatore.
