PPS Motors Opens Two New Mahindra Dealerships in Pune

PPS Motors, Mahindra's largest dealer in India, inaugurated two new Mahindra dealerships in Pune on Monday, expanding its presence to eight outlets in the city and bringing its total national network to 137 Mahindra facilities across six states.

The primary facility at Katraj, Ambegaon was inaugurated by Baneswar Banerjee, National Sales Head and VP at Mahindra, along with senior officials from both organizations. A second dealership was simultaneously opened at Saswad near Pune.

The Katraj showroom spans 6,500 square feet and can display six vehicles simultaneously. Located along the NH-4 corridor in one of Pune's key automotive hubs, the facility offers Mahindra's complete range of passenger vehicles, including internal combustion engine and electric variants.

The showroom features modern design elements, dramatic lighting, and interactive technology displays showcasing Mahindra's INGLO Electric Origin architecture and MAIA automotive technology platform.

Market Performance and Expansion Plans

PPS Motors entered the Pune market in July 2024 and has sold over 2,500 Mahindra vehicles in less than a year. The company currently operates seven showrooms and one workshop in Pune.

The dealership group plans to add three more showrooms and two workshops in Pune, targeting 13 total touchpoints in the region. This expansion aims to double annual sales from Pune to 4,500-5,000 vehicles, generating estimated revenue of Rs 800-1,000 crore within the next year.

National Operations

PPS Motors operates across six states - Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Kerala, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu. In FY25, the group sold over 37,000 Mahindra vehicles, reinforcing its position as Mahindra's largest sales and after-sales partner in India.

"We are excited to strengthen our longstanding partnership with Mahindra with the inauguration of our 137th Mahindra facility. Our journey with Mahindra spans nearly seven decades and is built on a foundation of shared values, trust, and customer-first thinking," said Rajiv Sanghvi, Managing Director, PPS Motors.
