Porter Marks 10,000th Electric Truck Deployment in Delhi

Digital goods transportation agency Porter has flagged off its 10,000th electric truck in Delhi, reaching a key operational milestone in its urban freight expansion. The vehicle was formally flagged off in the presence of Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari.

The company currently operates over 50,000 electric vehicles on a monthly basis across its network and plans to quadruple this fleet size over the next five years. Through its digital platform designed to optimize asset utilization, Porter has eliminated 185 crore kilometers of empty runs to date, resulting in over Rs 1,000 crore in fuel import savings.
