Porsche AG has named Florian Laudan as its new Vice President of Public Relations, Press, Sustainability and Politics, effective April 7, 2026. The 53-year-old succeeds Dr. Sebastian Rudolph, who transitioned to lead Corporate Communications at Volkswagen AG from January 1, 2026.

Laudan joins Porsche from ZF Friedrichshafen AG, where he most recently served as Senior Vice President for Corporate Communications and Marketing, a role he assumed in 2024. He had joined ZF in 2022, initially heading communications for the company's Commercial Vehicle Division.

Prior to ZF, Laudan held several senior communications roles within the Daimler group. He spent a number of years in India and Japan as Head of Communications for Daimler Truck Asia, before returning to the company's Stuttgart headquarters as Head of PR and Internal Communications for Trucks & Buses. He also held management positions at Mercedes-Benz Bank AG.

Dr. Michael Leiters, Chairman of the Executive Board of Porsche AG, said Laudan brings the right blend of industry expertise and international experience to steer the brand's communications through a period of significant transformation in the automotive sector.

The appointment comes as Porsche, like many legacy automakers, navigates the industry's ongoing shift toward electrification and evolving regulatory and sustainability pressures.

Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG is a Stuttgart-based luxury and sports car manufacturer and a listed subsidiary of the Volkswagen Group. The company is headquartered at Porscheplatz 1, 70435 Stuttgart, Germany.
