Popular Vehicles and Services Limited announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary Kuttukaran Cars Private Limited has received a Letter of Intent to establish Ather Energy facilities in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The company disclosed this development to the Bombay Stock Exchange and National Stock Exchange on July 10, 2025, in compliance with regulatory requirements.

The facilities will be distributed across two locations in Chennai. One location will house an Experience Centre, while the other will accommodate a Service Centre and warehouse. The service centre will initially operate with five bays and has the capacity to service approximately 450 vehicles per month. Operations are expected to begin in the first week of September 2025.

He emphasized that Tamil Nadu represents a significant market for the company's strategy to diversify revenue sources beyond Kerala.
