Piaggio Launches Apé Xtra Bada 700 and Apé Xtra 600 Diesel Cargo Three-Wheelers

New diesel cargo three-wheelers priced at ₹3.45 lakh and ₹2.88 lakh aim to compete with entry-level 4W cargo vehicles.

Apé Xtra 600 and Apé Xtra Bada 700

Piaggio Vehicles Pvt Ltd (PVPL) launched two new diesel cargo three-wheelers—the Apé Xtra Bada 700 and the Apé Xtra 600—to expand its last-mile mobility portfolio and address demand for higher payload and performance in the commercial vehicle segment.

The Apé Xtra Bada 700 introduces India’s first 7-ft cargo deck and the highest-in-segment 750 kg payload capacity. It is powered by a 700 DI diesel engine and features a new chassis, cabin, and digital instrument cluster. The vehicle also includes 12-inch radial tyres, improved suspension geometry, and an optional rear sensor for reversing assistance.

The Apé Xtra 600 is equipped with a newly developed 600 DI diesel engine, offering improved mileage, gradeability, and load-carrying performance. It is designed for intra-city and semi-urban logistics operations.

The Apé Xtra Bada 700 and Apé Xtra 600 are available from November 2025, priced at ₹3.45 lakh and ₹2.88 lakh (ex-showroom, Maharashtra), respectively.
