PETRONAS TVS Racing initiates training and selection for One Make Championship 2024

PETRONAS TVS Racing, renowned for its extensive racing heritage, is launching training and selection rounds for the PETRONAS TVS One Make Championship 2024.

Scheduled between January and May 2024 in Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, and Chennai, the program focuses on fostering talent among motorsports enthusiasts, with a specific emphasis on women and rookie riders.

The training sessions, facilitated by national champions from the PETRONAS TVS Racing team, will provide participants with a full-day immersion into racing skills, utilizing race-spec TVS Apache RTR 200 and RR 200 motorcycles. Shortlisted racers will receive comprehensive racing gear support, including suits, gloves, and boots, subject to availability.

The finals for both the women's and rookie categories are slated for May 11 & 12, 2024, in Chennai. The selection criteria require participants in the women's category to hold a valid two-wheeler driving license and be above 18 years of age, with those aged 15-18 having Level-1 FMSCI certified training. Rookie category participants must be aged above 15 and below 18 (born on or after January 2009), holding Level-1 certification from an FMSCI-approved training academy.

PETRONAS TVS Racing has a longstanding commitment to nurturing talent in motorsports, particularly championing women's participation since 2016, and the championship aims to provide an impactful platform for aspiring riders to embark on their motorsport careers.
