Pavna Industries Establishes R&D Centre in Noida
The automotive components manufacturer has opened a new research facility in Sector-63, Noida, focusing on electronic components, lock systems, switches, and advanced automotive solutions for diverse vehicle segments.
Pavna Industries Limited has announced the establishment of a new Research and Development Centre in Sector-63, Noida, Uttar Pradesh. The facility represents the company's continued investment in innovation and technology advancement within the automotive components sector.
The R&D centre will concentrate on developing electronic components, lock systems, switches, and other advanced automotive solutions. According to the company, the facility aims to enhance capabilities in designing products that meet evolving customer requirements and international standards.
Pavna Industries manufactures automotive components for multiple vehicle categories, including passenger vehicles, two-wheelers, three-wheelers, commercial vehicles, and off-road vehicles. The company supplies to original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) across these segments.
Managing Director Swapnil Jain stated that the establishment marks a significant milestone in the company's innovation trajectory. He noted that the facility is expected to accelerate product development cycles and improve operational efficiency while delivering enhanced value to OEM partners and customers.
The company, formerly known as Pavna Locks Limited, was incorporated in April 1994 and has been active in the South Asian automotive industry for over 50 years. Pavna Industries operates manufacturing plants in Aligarh, Aurangabad, and Pantnagar, strategically located near customer facilities.
The company's product range includes ignition switches, fuel tank caps, latches, auto locks, switches, oil pumps, throttle bodies, fuel cocks, and casting components. Pavna Industries serves domestic markets and exports to countries including Italy, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Sudan, the United States, and Bangladesh.
Current clients include Bajaj, Kawasaki, Honda, TVS, Mahindra, Escorts, Royal Enfield, Ashok Leyland, Eicher Motors, and several other automotive manufacturers. The company maintains an Indo-Taiwan joint venture with Sunworld Moto Industrial Co. as part of its collaborative approach to research and development.
