OPG Mobility Reduces Prices on Ferrato Scooters, Expands Domestic Manufacturing

OPG Mobility, formerly known as Okaya EV, has announced a reduction in the prices of its Ferrato electric scooter range across India, excluding the MotoFaast and Faast F3 models. The move is part of the company’s ongoing rebranding efforts and aims to extend supplier cost benefits directly to customers, making electric two-wheelers more affordable.

The company stated that the price adjustment aligns with its efforts to maintain performance, safety, and durability while supporting the wider adoption of electric mobility. As part of the ‘Make in India’ initiative, OPG Mobility has also expanded its domestic manufacturing capabilities, reinforcing its position as a key player in India’s electric vehicle sector.

With the integration of MTEKPOWER into its operations, OPG Mobility is strengthening its energy solutions portfolio. The company aims to enhance its service and dealership network across the country while offering cost-effective and technologically advanced mobility solutions.

Following the price reduction, the Ferrato Faast F4 now costs ₹1,09,999, down from its previous price of ₹1,18,999. The Ferrato Faast F2T and Faast F2B models have been reduced from ₹94,999 to ₹89,999, while the Ferrato Faast F2F is now priced at ₹79,999, compared to its earlier price of ₹93,999. The Ferrato CLASSIQ has undergone a price cut from ₹75,599 to ₹59,999. Similarly, the Ferrato FREEDUM LI has been reduced from ₹75,899 to ₹69,999, and the Ferrato FREEDUM LA is now available for ₹49,999, down from ₹55,650.

Additionally, discounts have been introduced on select models. The Ferrato Disruptor is now priced at ₹1,54,999, compared to its earlier price of ₹1,59,999. The Ferrato Moto Faast has seen a reduction from ₹1,38,999 to ₹1,33,999, while the Ferrato Faast F3 is now available for ₹1,04,999, down from ₹1,08,999.

OPG Mobility has structured its electric mobility solutions into three sub-brands: Ferrato for two-wheelers, OTTOOPG for three-wheelers, and MTEKPOWER for battery and energy storage solutions.

MTEKPOWER, with a 40-year legacy, will provide energy storage systems, EV charging stations, and solar solutions, alongside lithium and lead-acid batteries for two- and three-wheelers, inverters, UPS systems, chargers, and auto components. The company expects that the integration of MTEKPOWER will further solidify its position in the battery manufacturing sector and contribute to India’s transition toward sustainable energy solutions.
