Omega Seiki and Clean Electric Launch Rs 3.55 Lakh Electric Three-Wheeler with 300 km Range

Omega Seiki Pvt. Ltd., in collaboration with Clean Electric, has launched the Omega Seiki NRG, an electric passenger three-wheeler designed to offer an extended driving range. Priced at Rs 3.55 lakh (ex-showroom), the vehicle is claimed to deliver a range of over 300 km on a single charge. It is equipped with a 15 kWh battery pack and comes with a 5-year or 200,000 km battery warranty.  

The launch aims to address the growing demand for electric mobility solutions in India, particularly for fleet operators and businesses seeking cost-effective alternatives to conventional fuel-powered vehicles. Omega Seiki Pvt. Ltd. has announced plans to deploy 5,000 units of the Omega Seiki NRG by the next financial year to increase accessibility to electric three-wheelers.  

The Omega Seiki NRG is powered by the FLO 150, a 15 kWh LFP battery pack developed by Clean Electric. The battery features Direct Contact Liquid Cooling (DCLC) technology to enhance thermal management and safety, ensuring reliable performance in varying weather conditions. Clean Electric’s cell-to-pack architecture maximizes energy storage, contributing to the vehicle’s claimed 300 km range.  

The vehicle also supports a top-up charge of 150 km in 45 minutes using Bharat DC-001 public charging infrastructure. Omega Seiki Pvt. Ltd. has been expanding its electric vehicle portfolio, which includes two-wheelers, three-wheelers, and four-wheelers. The company has manufacturing facilities in Delhi NCR and Pune and is planning further expansion in Chennai. It currently operates a network of over 250 dealerships across India.

It also engages in partnerships with fleet operators and last-mile delivery services to integrate electric mobility into commercial transportation.
