The Indian range comprises the GP-0 110 Automatic, GP-0 160 4-Speed and GP-2 190 4-Speed. All three use four-stroke, single-cylinder, air-cooled engines with carburettor fuelling.
The GP-0 110 uses a 106.7cc engine paired with a four-speed automatic gearbox. The GP-0 160 uses a 155.5cc engine and four-speed manual gearbox, while the GP-2 190 is powered by a 187.18cc engine paired with a four-speed manual gearbox.
Ohvale's international range also includes the GP-5 and GP-7. The Indian website lists the GP-7 with a 250cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine, although its price has not been specified.
Track-Focused Chassis And Suspension
All three motorcycles use a steel trellis frame, aluminium swingarm and Arrow under-seat exhaust system. The GP-0 110 and GP-0 160 use 10-inch front and rear wheels with Pirelli Diablo slick tyres as standard.
The standard versions feature fully adjustable rear suspension, while the Race variants add full adjustability to their 35mm USD front forks.
Braking hardware includes front and rear discs across the range. The Race variants receive Brembo calipers, while the GP-2 190 Race gets a front rotor that is 10mm larger. The GP-2 also uses a 180mm rear disc, compared with the 155mm rear disc on the other two motorcycles.
Ohvale Racing Motorcycles Weigh Up To 71kg
Weight reduction is a key characteristic of the Ohvale range. The GP-0 110 weighs 67kg, while the GP-0 160 weighs 65kg. The GP-2 190 has a kerb weight of 71kg.
The motorcycles use fibreglass fairings and a compact 3.5-litre fuel tank as part of their lightweight construction.
The GP-2 190 Race is the most equipment-focused variant in the range and adds a slipper clutch and quickshifter.
Ohvale Motorcycles Aimed At Developing Racing Skills
HOM says the motorcycles are intended to help riders, including younger racers, learn the fundamentals of circuit riding and develop their skills before moving to higher levels of competition.
All four variants are track-only machines, restricting their use to circuit riding rather than public-road use. HOM also intends to use its partnership with Ohvale to support motorsport participation in India by making purpose-built racing motorcycles available to riders seeking to enter competition.
