The company's October performance was driven by robust demand for its latest lineup of smart electric scooters, including the newly launched Racer Neo, Snap, HyFy, and the high-speed Odysse SUN. These models, designed for performance, comfort, and intelligent commuting, have received positive early market response with strong word-of-mouth referrals and repeat purchases, according to the company.
Festive season promotions played a crucial role in accelerating sales momentum. Odysse Electric's Navratri sale on e-commerce platform Flipkart, featuring festive discounts and savings offers, significantly boosted online demand and attracted first-time electric vehicle buyers.
The company's distribution network has now expanded to cover nearly 300 pin codes across India, marking a substantial increase in retail visibility. The sector clocked 143,000 units in October 2025, with Bajaj Auto reclaiming the number one position with over 31,000 Chetak sales, marking its return to the top spot after addressing rare earth magnet supply constraints that had impacted production earlier in the year.
India's overall electric two-wheeler registrations jumped 30% month-on-month to 1.35 lakh units in October, fueled by festive season demand and government policy support including the retention of uniform 5% GST on electric vehicles.
The market witnessed intense competition among leading players. TVS Motor was pushed to second place after holding the crown for six months, while Ather Energy posted record sales to maintain third position. Meanwhile, once-dominant Ola Electric continued its decline, recording a significant drop attributed to persistent after-sales service challenges.
Ather Energy recorded a 46% month-on-month jump to 26,713 units in October, driven by its rapid store expansion strategy. Hero MotoCorp's Vida brand also showed strong growth, benefiting from its new product launches.
