Numeros Motors Launches Diplos Max E-Scooter in Pune at ₹1,13,399
Numeros Motors has introduced the Diplos Max, a multipurpose electric scooter, in Pune. Designed for various applications, it emphasizes safety, reliability, and durability. The company is also expanding its sales and service network across multiple cities.
Numeros Motors, an electric vehicle manufacturer, has launched its multipurpose e-scooter, Diplos Max, in Pune. The new model marks the company’s expansion into the personal mobility segment under its Diplos platform. Designed for various applications, the scooter focuses on safety, reliability, and durability. It is priced at Rs 1,13,399 (ex-showroom, Pune).
As part of its development process, Numeros Motors conducted a large-scale pilot test, covering 13.9 million kilometers across diverse terrains. The test aimed to evaluate the scooter’s performance under different conditions.
The Diplos Max features dual disc brakes, high-performance LED lighting, and smart connectivity options, including theft alerts, geofencing, and vehicle tracking. The chassis, battery, motor, and controller have been engineered for long-term performance, while the square chassis design and wider tires contribute to durability and stability on different road surfaces.
Numeros Motors is also expanding its sales and service network. Currently operating in 14 cities, the company aims to onboard 100 dealers in 50 cities by the end of FY 2026-27.
Founded in 2019 by Shreyas Shibulal, Numeros Motors is an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) based in Bangalore that designs and produces electric two-wheelers for various applications. The company has conducted a large-scale pilot test, covering 13.9 million kilometers across different terrains.
As part of its product development, Numeros Motors has introduced the Diplos platform and an additional new platform, offering a total of seven variants. The company has filed over 200 intellectual property (IP) rights, with 113 granted.
Numeros Motors operates a 16-acre industrial unit in Narasapura, near Bangalore, which includes a 20,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility with an annual production capacity of over 70,000 units. The company employs over 250 professionals with expertise in automotive design and development. The facility includes a styling studio and a validation lab for product testing.
The company has established partnerships with distributors and continues to expand its dealer network in tier-1 and tier-2 cities, currently operating in 14 cities, with further expansion underway.
