Nissan has unveiled its new electric Pixo, marking the return of the Pixo nameplate, as an entry-level A-segment electric vehicle tailored for urban European markets.
Designed by Nissan and scheduled to be manufactured by Renault at its Slovenia production facility, the compact EV is slated to begin customer deliveries in early 2027, with market-specific pricing and pre-order details scheduled for release starting December 2026.
The city car is powered by a front-mounted electric motor delivering a maximum power output of 60 kW, drawing energy from a 27.5 kWh LFP battery pack. The Pixo achieves a certified driving range of up to 259 kilometres on a single charge. Charging capabilities include 11 kW bi-directional alternating current charging and standard 50 kW direct current fast charging across all trim grades, allowing the battery to charge from 15% to 80% SoC in approximately 28 minutes.
The Pixo measures 3,796 mm in length, 1,790 mm in width without mirrors, and 1,512 mm in unladen height, riding on a 2,492 mm wheelbase with an overall turning circle of 9.9 metres and 140 mm of ground clearance. The boot has a 356-litre capacity, expanding to 1,221 litres with the rear seats folded down.
The Pixo integrates a seven-inch driver instrument cluster, a 10-inch infotainment touchscreen, Face ID driver recognition, and native Google Gemini artificial intelligence support. Driver assistance functions encompass stop-and-go adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, hands-free parking systems, and one-pedal driving functionality for urban regenerative deceleration.

The earlier Nissan Pixo, which was in production between 2009 and 2013, was a collaboration between Nissan and Suzuki and based on the Suzuki A-Star (sold as the Alto in the UK).
