Nissan Motor India Reduces Magnite Prices Up to ₹1 Lakh Following GST Rate Cut
Company passes full GST advantage to customers with revised pricing effective September 22, 2025
Nissan Motor India announced price reductions of up to ₹1 lakh on its Magnite SUV variants following the Government of India's revised GST rates, with the entry-level Visia MT now available under ₹6 lakh and premium CVT variants under ₹10 lakh.
The Japanese automaker will implement the revised pricing on all deliveries from September 22, 2025, coinciding with Navratri festivities, though customers can begin booking at new prices immediately across authorized dealerships nationwide.
Price Reductions Across Variants
The Magnite Visia MT variant is now priced at ₹5,61,600, down from ₹6,14,000, positioning it as an accessible entry point in the compact SUV segment. The N-Connecta CVT and KURO CVT variants are available under ₹10 lakh at ₹9,63,100 and ₹9,93,800 respectively.
Top-end variants CVT Tekna and CVT Tekna+ receive the maximum price reductions of ₹97,300 and ₹1,00,400, now priced at ₹10,42,700 and ₹10,75,600 respectively.
The CNG retrofitment kit for the Magnite is now priced at ₹71,999, offering savings of ₹3,000 from previous pricing. Developed by government-approved vendor Motozen, the homologated kit is compatible with the 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol MT variant and comes with a three-year or one lakh kilometer warranty.
Safety and Features
The Magnite maintains its Global NCAP five-star overall safety rating with perfect scores in Adult Occupant Protection and three-star Child Occupant Protection ratings. The vehicle comes standard with six airbags across all variants and features over 55 safety features.
Managing Director Saurabh Vatsa stated the GST reduction provides "a timely stimulus for the automotive industry and a direct win for our customers," with Nissan committed to passing the entire policy advantage to consumers during the upcoming festive season.
The Magnite is currently available in over 65 countries across both right-hand drive and left-hand drive markets, featuring over 20 first-in-segment and best-in-segment features. Nissan offers a segment-first 10-year extended warranty plan for the model.
The company also introduced the Magnite KURO Special Edition with exclusive black exterior styling and a new Metallic Grey color option for Tekna, Tekna+ and N-Connecta variants.
