Nissan Motor India reported a 218% year-on-year increase in domestic wholesales for July 2026, driven by the commencement of customer deliveries of the newly launched TEKTON SUV and the expansion of its passenger vehicle portfolio.

The company dispatched 4,518 units to dealers in the domestic market during the month, while export wholesales stood at 4,821 units, taking total wholesales to 9,339 units. Nissan also reported a 50% month-on-month increase in domestic wholesales.

Customer deliveries of the TEKTON began across India on July 20, following its global debut on July 9. The SUV joins the Magnite and Gravite in Nissan's domestic portfolio, giving the company a three-model lineup as it seeks to expand its presence in the Indian passenger vehicle market.

Commenting on the performance, Saurabh Vatsa, Managing Director, Nissan Motor India Pvt. Ltd., said, "The 218% year-on-year growth in domestic wholesales in July is a strong reflection of the momentum Nissan is building in India, and the confidence customers continue to place in our brand. The commencement of customer deliveries for the all-new Nissan TEKTON is another significant milestone, further strengthening our SUV portfolio and marking an important step in Nissan's growth journey."

Nissan said the launch of the TEKTON marks its transition from a single-product portfolio to a three-product lineup. Alongside the product expansion, the company said it is continuing to grow its retail and service network as part of its long-term strategy in India.
