New Holland launches Workmaster 105 tractor at Rs 29.5 lakh

The company claims it is the first-ever indigenously produced 100 + HP TREM-IV tractor.

CNH-owned agriculture and construction equipment brand New Holland has launched a new tractor - Workmaster 105 - at an introductory ex-showroom price of Rs 29.5 lakh.

The company claims it is the first-ever indigenously produced 100 + HP TREM IV tractor. 

“We believe the timing is now right to introduce this advanced technology to the discerning Indian customers and are proud to launch the first made-in-India TREM-IV tractor in the 100 + HP category,” said Narinder Mittal, country manager and managing director of CNH India and SAARC, at the launch.

Workmaster 105 has an advanced FPT engine delivering 106 horsepower and has features such as a 3,500 kg lift capacity, electro-hydraulic four-wheel drive engagement, and an air-suspended seat with an adjustable backrest. 

The company noted that the tractor is perfect for farmers with large landholdings, operating advanced equipment such as balers, and forage harvesters. It is also suits those who need tractors for long hours, delivering a high level of productivity.

CNH manufactures agriculture and construction equipment, and has a  4-5 percent market share in the domestic tractor market. New Holland offers tractors from 20 to 110 horsepower,  besides harvesting solutions such as combine and sugarcane harvesters, crop residue management and farm mechanisation solutions. It also offers tailored financial services.
