Neolite ZKW unveils new plant in Pune

The new plant improves production capabilities in automotive lighting while prioritising sustainability through eco-friendly practices, advanced technology.

Neolite ZKW has unveiled a new manufacturing facility in Pune, Maharashtra, aimed at improving its production capabilities in the automotive lighting sector. The inauguration event featured Venkatram M, Managing Director of Groupe Renault, as the chief guest, along with senior representatives from various OEMs and Neolite ZKW's leadership team.

The Pune plant has been designed to incorporate eco-friendly and energy-efficient manufacturing processes, complying with Green Building Standards. It also implements a digital factory concept based on Industry 4.0, featuring advanced material movement systems such as Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) and overhead conveyors.

Neolite aims for sustainability at the Pune plant, which operates under zero-discharge processes, incorporating water recycling and reuse initiatives.

Rajesh Jain, Managing Director of Neolite ZKW, stated that the new plant represents a significant step toward enhancing their capabilities in meeting the needs of the passenger vehicle segment. He emphasised the importance of providing high-quality and high-performance lighting solutions tailored to market demands.

Rajesh Soni, CEO of Neolite ZKW, noted the strategic advantage of the new facility, highlighting its proximity to key customers, which will facilitate quicker response times and greater convenience. As the company continues to expand, it aims to maintain close relationships with major clients to ensure that its innovative products are readily available.
