NDR Auto Components Subsidiary Inaugurates New Manufacturing Facility in Andhra Pradesh
The production unit in Sri Sathyasai district will supply seat frames and trims to Hyundai Transys for Kia Motors India operations.
NDR Auto Components South Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of NDR Auto Components Limited, has inaugurated a new manufacturing facility at Penukonda in the Sri Sathyasai district of Andhra Pradesh. The operational launch was formalized through a regulatory disclosure submitted to the stock exchanges.
The new project involves a total capital expenditure of approximately 27.29 crore rupees, which was funded through a combination of debt financing and equity capital. The facility is engineered to manufacture automotive frame structures, seat covers, and other plastic, metal, or polyurethane-based components. According to the project specifications, the installed production capacity targets an annual output of 50,000 sets of frames for five-seater passenger cars alongside 28,000 sets of trim seat covers for seven-seater vehicles, with full capacity utilization expected to be achieved over the next one year.
The primary operational rationale for the plant location is to establish a localized supply chain corridor for Kia Motors India by routing components directly through the Hyundai Transys facility situated at Penukonda.
