Musashi India Private Limited and Kinetic Green Energy and Power Solutions Limited have signed a letter of intent for the supply of electric powertrain systems. The agreement focuses on providing integrated components for the upcoming electric two wheeler platforms of the Pune based vehicle manufacturer.

Under the partnership, Musashi will supply a side mounted electric axle that integrates a 4.7 kilowatt interior permanent magnet motor, a gearbox, and a controller into a single unit. The company states this configuration can provide higher range and durability while requiring less maintenance compared to traditional center and hub mounted drive systems. The side mounted design also allows for increased luggage space on the vehicle.

The supplier plans to commence pilot batch deliveries in December 2026. Subsequent mass production of the powertrain components will take place at the existing Musashi Delta facility located in Bengaluru. The companies have positioned this agreement as a long term strategic partnership, with Kinetic Green planning to adopt future technological advancements from Musashi for its upcoming vehicle architectures.
