Musashi appoints Naoya Nishimura as CEO for India, Africa region

Musashi Auto Parts India Pvt Ltd (Musashi), a subsidiary of Musashi Seimitsu Industries, Japan and a prominent manufacturer of transmission components for two-wheelers and four-wheelers in India, has named Naoya Nishimura as its Chief Executive Officer (CEO). This strategic appointment underscores Musashi’s dedication to bolstering its leadership team and its strategic focus on the Indian market.

With over two decades of experience at Musashi and a background spanning various international markets including Japan and North America, Nishimura brings a wealth of expertise to his new role. Having held positions in operations, customer acquisition, research & development, and business planning, Nishimura is poised to lead Musashi India towards achieving its vision of revolutionizing the auto industry with high-quality products. In his new capacity, Nishimura will spearhead efforts to expand the penetration of Musashi’s EV products in the India & Africa market.

Prior to his appointment as CEO of Musashi India, Nishimura served as the global Chief R&D Officer at Musashi.

Musashi India specialises in manufacturing high-quality electric motors, PCU, and gear systems to enhance EV performance and range, contributing to increased efficiency and reliability. With a focus on innovation, Musashi India aims to play a key role in India's electric vehicle ecosystem by supplying high-performance EV drive units and supporting the nation's transition to cleaner transportation options.
