Motul India presented its portfolio of lubrication and fluid technologies at SIAT Expo 2026 in Pune on January 29, 2026. The company's exhibit focused on solutions for electric vehicles, sustainable lubricants, and alternative fuel powertrains, aligning with the event's theme of safe and sustainable mobility.
The French lubricant manufacturer showcased its E-Gen fluid technology series, developed for thermal management in hybrid and electric vehicles. The fluids are designed to support electric motors, battery systems, and power electronics. Dr. Julien Plet, Global Head of R&D at Motul, delivered a keynote address on innovative fluids for next-generation mobility at the event.
Motul also displayed NGEN, a lubricant range produced using base oils from re-refined lubricants. The company positions this product line as part of its circular economy approach and long-term sustainability strategy.
In addition to electric vehicle technologies, Motul presented lubricant formulations for hydrogen internal combustion engines, reflecting its research investments in alternative propulsion systems.
The exhibit included OEM-validated products, such as a lubricant with Mercedes-Benz approval and one developed with Toyota Racing Development. These collaborations demonstrate Motul's use of motorsport as a testing and development platform.

Plet noted that Motul's R&D teams are working on lubricant performance for current powertrains while developing technologies for future mobility needs and local market conditions.
Motul, founded in 1853, operates in 160 countries and produces lubricants for powersport, passenger cars, heavy-duty applications, and industrial uses. The company is known for its 300V synthetic oil and has expanded into care products and advanced fluids for electric vehicle batteries and data centers.
